Whistles and the Gang

There is only one thing we want in our stockings this year, and it’s our latest collaboration. For Christmas we have created exclusive embroidery kits for Whistles!

At least once a day in our Wool and the Gang office someone swoons over another’s latest Whistles purchase, so when the opportunity came along to collaborate we were thrilled. Whistles cool girl, easy-to-wear aesthetic is the perfect partnership for our sexy and soft knitwear.

‘We love that this partnership brings Wool and the Gang’s maker story to life on the British high street. The beanies are knitted by hand using our super chic Crazy Sexy Wool and are a fun, quirky gift for your nearest and dearest, or just for you!’ Jade Harwood, co-founder and creative director, Wool and the Gang.

We thought an Embroidery Kit would be the perfect present for our creative Whistles and the Gang woman. Our kit includes all the necessary tools plus a hand knitted Zion Lion beanie, made from our favorite Crazy Sexy Wool  in colours Space Black, Magic Mint and Tweed Grey. You can embroider an initial yourself using our easy-to follow pattern and embroidery tutorial, available from the Wool School. If you’re not feeling crafty you can request to have one of our expert Gang makers do it for you. Our adventurous knitters could even add a pom pom!

Kits will be sold online at whistles.com and in selected stores: Dover Street, St Pancras, Birmingham Bullring, St Chris Place, Covent Gdn Longacre, Northcote Road, Kings Road, Islington, White City, Edinburgh, Spitalfields, Oxford, St Albans, Cambridge, Richmond, BT Dublin CON, Bloomingdales 59th Street (launching later) Selfridges Oxford St, Guildford and Bath.

To celebrate the launch of our Whistles and the Gang collaboration we are co-hosting events in 5 selected Whistles stores on the 6th and 7th of December. Here you can meet one of our expert Gang makers who will embroider your new hat whilst you shop. Can’t make it to a Whistles and the Gang event? No worries, you can buy one of the kits here. Because what else is better than the gift of knitting.
