    • Hello, I lived with my family for 18 years in France, in and near by Paris. Last summer we moved to Munich.
I like your wool and creative style very much and when I find a little bit more time for knitting I would like to knit one of your wonderful clutches.
      Many greatings
      Petra

  1. Yes a knit party in Paris would be my dream !!! Pleaaassseeee !
Love your site so much… Thanks !

  2. HI there!

Those wooly cusions look lovely. Do you know of a knitting party taking place any time soon in Berlin? and if not. could you tell me how to organize a knitting party? how can I advertise that I would like to do one? cheers! Kate

    • Hey Kate! We don’t have anything in the calendar at the minute. If you’d like to put something together, drop our party team an email on [email protected] and they’ll be able to help you get started : )

  3. Hi there
I got so excited when I read ‘all around the world’ in big capitals, so imagine my surprise to see that your parties are only planned for London. Maybe you could expand those horizons a little… or clarify that ‘all around the world’ is an aspiration. I do like your enthusiasm for the good yarn, though…

    • We’ll be updating this post as more parties are scheduled – right now we’re working on parties in the US and Australia which we hope to have confirmed in the next few days. Our wider Gang are throwing Knit Parties worldwide, so if there’s not one happening in your area, why not host one? Just email [email protected] for more info : )

  4. Hi,
still waiting for my answer for request for Knit Party in Lisbon, Portugal and having problems on making my shark beanie! My yarn went a big mess after you asked me to use both extremes of the yarn to start the project. Really bad experience with Wool and the Gang… :( Great marketing but really poor client support. Good Knits!!

    • Hello – I can see your email to our CS team and I’m sorry that no-one has addressed your query about the Knit Party. If you’d like to host a Knit Party you can sign up via the site: http://www.woolandthegang.com/host-a-party. You can also contact the Knit Party team directly at [email protected].
Re: the Bite Me Beanie, we’re sorry to hear your yarn isn’t behaving! Using both ends of a ball allows you to work with double yarn without you having to first re-wind your yarn (apart from being time-consuming, there is also the issue that unless you have some good scales, it’s difficult to divide a ball into two equal halves). Just like when working with two separate balls, it’s a good idea to check every couple of rows that your yarns aren’t getting too twisted. Some people put their ball into a plastic bag, make two holes and feed a strand of yarn through each – that way, they stay separated.

      • Hello again,WATG!! Finally got an honest and truly great answer from you!!! Thank you very much!! :D Full of Lisbon sunshine now! About the Knit Party probably I didn’t sign up properly but I will try to do it again and double check it by sending an email directly to Knit Party team.
Re: about the Bite Me Beanie, the guru wasn’t much of a help in her emails. I’ll try to unscramble my ball of yarn and use your technic. Still I prefer to use 2 balls like a Macho Man! :) Feel free to check my page. Knots and Knits!! Congrats for your project!! I simply LOVE YOU GIRLS!! Knitted by Macho Men

  5. I love wool and the gang!!!

    gabriel

    • Hey Gabriele : )
We’re working on gathering a global gathering of stockists. If you have any suggestions in Germany let us know – in the meantime, we do ship worldwide!

    • Hi Melissa. I’m afraid WATG fans in Mexico are not yet able to host WATG parties – we hope to expand soon!
