Mini meets Wool And The Gang
Last week the gang was on-site at the MINI Countryman London Open Air with knitting lessons, kits, and tips, along with some pretty punchy style. The occasion for MINI to interview Carolyn Main, co-founder of WATG and Jade Harwood from the design team.

What better place than the water-bar to welcome the first yogurt bar from Mamie Nova! In a friendly atmosphere, come taste or re-taste all the flavors of yogurt, puddings and gourmet desserts, and why not also attend the Arty workshop with Wool & The Gang (4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and Olympia Tan (from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

MINI BEEP BEEP
A few months ago, MINI contacted Wool and the Gang to propose working together, yes we're talking about Mini the cars. Cars and Wool! As Carolyn Main, our founder rightly said 'there is a lot of nostalgia around Mini, everyone remembers there first mini as everyone remembers their first special moments learning to knit.'
This is the deal...MINI are launching a new car called THE COUNTRYMAN, the coolest car, remember the old Mini estates that had bits of woodwork well it's the new and improved version. Tuesday night MINI held an event in London...this is how it went down in London Town...
Arrive Mudchute, London, a peculiar little place in the middle of no where, to be more precise in middle of a farm.
Imagine...in a farm...sheep everywhere...the skyline of London trickling over the trees...Mini are up to something.
We arrive to set up, the energy is building, 100's of people adding perfection to every last detail. Sheep getting graffed up, the best being 'I AM WOOL AND THIS IS MY GANG.'
Turn 7.30pm, hundreds of people are heading towards us, the London glitterati are here, crowds of people are in the WATG area, people are going wild over the kits, they are all gone within seconds.
Next the models home in, next Lisa is having her picture taken with Eva Herzigova, Jade Parfit and Jasmine Guiness getting in on the knitting action too.
Rolling into the evening, the music begins, Timbaland rolls up and everyone is throwing all sorts of shapes and dancemoves. Everyone left with big smiles, thank you London for the perfect weather.
