We were used to see Terry Richardson completely naked on a beach taking pictures of Kate in the same outfit, but it seems that he's found something really exciting in knitting too when you see one of his photoshoots with Lara Stone for Vogue France Magazine! Knitting has never been that sexy even if the clothes are a bit naf today!
No grandma you can't wear this!!

After the Barbie mini-collection by Wool and the Gang, here’s something else to leave us speechless: Coraline, the new film by Henry Selick, renowned for The Nightmare Before Christmas, is a mixture of the latest computer animation and old-school stop motion. One of the most amazing aspects of the film concerns the ultra-realistic costumes, both for their material and their cut – a result which was achieved thanks to micro-knitting. In fact, to make them, the costume-creators worked with needles not much thicker than a human hair. Don't miss this video !

The first volume, “Tactile”, has been an inspiration for many, collecting the most pertinent examples of the “hand made” trend in an up-to-date graphic treatment. As a way not to miss a drop of this creative phenomenon, Die Gestalten Verlag continues the exploration with a second volume, “Tangible”. This edition highlights graphic designers who push the limits of traditional supports ever farther, going all the way to performance art, interior architecture etc. The cover of “Tangible” has been entrusted this time to the young illustrator Julien Vallée, an expert in the scenography of graphical objects.

Sandra Backlund is the goddess of wool! For those who don’t know her work yet, this young Swedish woman, discovered in 2007 at Hyères Fashion Festival, has exploded the codes of knitting. With her ultra-innovative knitting work, she has created incredible, magical volumes that leave us open-mouthed in amazement with every collection.
