After recent collaborations and friendly conversations with our friends at Madewell, our designers Aurélie and Jade were chosen as two of the four fashionable ladies currently featured on “My Madewell” – the company’s online page dedicated to showcasing how “these stylish women mix Madewell with their own favorite pieces - and get inspired”. The girls are rocking jeans, sandals, blazers, shirts from Madewell and knitting needles + wool from Wool and the Gang’s newest collection, lest we forget.

Meet Wool and the Gang….at My Madewell!
Mini meets Wool And The Gang
Last week the gang was on-site at the MINI Countryman London Open Air with knitting lessons, kits, and tips, along with some pretty punchy style. The occasion for MINI to interview Carolyn Main, co-founder of WATG and Jade Harwood from the design team.
Let Thompson Street shine!

Last week the sun was shining on 98 Thompson Street, the WATG girls took a moment to enjoy the rays whilst knitting and giggling on a sunny Friday afternoon. The girls are sporting sunglasses by Diane di Carlo, Mannequin, and Paola Belle which are small independent brands manufactured in the same factory as the Balenciaga frames of the same era--the mid 1980s. Silver Lining purchased all of these and they are exclusive to them, known cumulatively as the French Connection by Silver Lining Vintage.
Knit it, draw it! — by Antoine

The gang have been set a task to draw their favourite pieces and style it up how they would imagine to wear it. First up is Antoine's drawing from our photoshoot in Paris, this dude is wearing the FOXY ROXY!

SHINY HAPPY COTTON 2 — BEHIND THE SCENE, PART 01

Here comes the sun... or well at least there was sun and dare we explain that we shot the SHINY HAPPY COTTON 2 summer collection in no less than -5 degrees celcius (23 fahrenheit) and knee deep in snow!... The day after a huge snow storm over New York in February, the Gang loaded up the cars and headed to Montauk to shoot Aurelie, Jade and Jennifer (our US gang team!) in the new pieces. Thankfully the sun was shining and the girl were SO brave to fake a perfect summer holidays atmosphere!
Here are Antoine Ricardou's backstage photos in Montauk with the photographer Martin Bruno. Who can spot the snow!
Special thanks to Silver Lining for the sunglasses, Jem for their amazing ethical jewelry, The Hat Shop and The News.
