This week we had the cutest little group of girls drop into the shop. This little chic picked up the Tala Tank Top in Ivory White, straight off the rack, she layered her Tank on top of her vintage dress.

Then our lovable friend Shonagh popped by to model the Sweety Gigi bra, her 60's aura and spirit matches the knitted bra perfectly.

Meet the Neighbors'

As well as being generally lovely neighbors to us at 98 Thompson Street, Eric ad Jordan from Silver Lining were kind enough to lend us an awesome selection of vintage sunglasses for our Shiny Happy Cotton 2 photoshoot in Montauk.
Now although part of us would like to keep this treasure-trove of amazing vintage glasses and sunglasses our little secret, with their recent collaboration with the Opening Ceremony and the likes of Rihanna, Dustin Hoffman and Mario Sorrenti stopping by, it's only a matter of time before you'd be hearing the Silver Lining name dropped left right and centre anyway.
Jade and Isobel took a break from the New York Studio/Shop today and popped by to share gummy bears, chat about surfing and generally play dress up with their gorgeous vintage selection (the largest collection in New York). They also got to check out their own newly launched collection of classic (with just the right amount of quirky) frames. They loved every pair!
Thanks Eric for indulging them, we'll be sure to drop by again soon (and next time we'll bring the Gummy Bears).

Wool and the Gang takes on Hong Kong

It's official, the gang is global! From the London, to New York, to Paris, to Tokyo and now Hong Kong, everyone's getting in on the knitting action!
March 5th saw Wool and the Gang's launch at Kapok in Hong Kong. Men and women alike flocked to the store to check out our kits and have a go at knitting with our Crazy Sexy Wool. A great time was had by all and everyone was knitting and chatting away late into the evening.
Kapok is a super cool store showcasing brands that combine craftsmanship and creativity. They focus on showing products by young small companies, whose work is not available in Hong Kong. We love Kapoks ethos and are very happy to be part of their store.
Thanks to Kapok for such a warm welcome and to everyone who came down and joined in the fun!

Join the Thompson Street gang!

We've only been open two months and already we've built up a strong community of Wool And The Gang regulars at our Thompson Street location. Here are just some of the people who've caught the knitting bug with us.
Get in on the action yourself and drop into one of our 'knitting surgeries' on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 - 7pm, where the Studio/Shop team will be happy to help you get started with one of our kits, trade tips or even just give you someone to chat to while you knit -- they look forward to meeting you!

Knitting tour around the globe
