AWAY WITH THE FAIRIES

Following the making of GA Camille’s tutorial of how to make a Dream Catcher, this dreamy picture of Camille suits the hippy mood we’re feeling. Wearing the Florence Sweater she knitted with a bold twist of stripes! The Florence is knitted in Garter stitch, to add stripes like Camille, simply choose a second color. You will knit 4 rows in garter stitch with the first color and 4 rows in garter stitch in the second color - 4x4 garter stitch.

DREAM CATCHER

Our Gang Ambassador Camille demonstrates how to make a simple Dream Catcher, if you have any left over yarn why not try this quick and easy delightful dream catcher, to keep those nightmares away of dropping stitches or moths away.

Tool Kit:

1 Golden Yellow Pima Cotton ball or left over yarn

1 Metal hoop

1 Vintage doily

3 yellow feathers

2 black feathers

Wind the cotton yarn evenly around the metal loop.

Make 3 braids and attach the feathers (as shown in the picture). Simply bind the ends of the feather by wrapping the cotton. Attach the doliy to the centre of the loop so that it is suspended in the centre.

Et Voila, a simple summer activity.

QUEEN OF PURLS

Salut Gang!

Meet Camille, our princess of purls, literally! It’s safe to say that Camille had brought knitting fever to Geneva, if you haven’t been to one of Camille’s knitting parties, we don’t where you’ve been. Always with her knitting needles on the go, there’s not a moment she’s not knitting, she’s literally making smoke as she knits, she whips through WATG projects like there’s no tomorrow. As she’s done with one this summer project the Cast Away Scarf!

If you’re interested in joining the Camille’s soul wool train and would like to learn to knit and you live in Geneva, follow Johnny Be Good tumblr for the latest updates.
